NEW COURSE RELEASED!
"Pandemic: A Critical Thinking Scenario" assesses and trains public health professionals in critical thinking, using a hypothetical pandemic scenario. It is aligned with Public Health Preparedness Capabilities and the Public Health Preparedness and Response Core Competencies.

Protecting the health of our communitites requires a well-trained public health workforce that is able to prepare for, promptly identify, and respond to public health threats.
The Iowa Center for Public Health Preparedness was established at the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa in May 2001. In September 2010, the organization became one of 14 Preparedness and Emergency Response Learning Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
