Research Week
Each spring the Carver College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Public Health, Institute for Clinical and Translational Science, and VA Health System sponsor Research Week. Internationally known speakers are invited to lecture on current health topics; and workshops and panel discussions are presented by UI faculty and staff.
There are poster sessions for faculty, staff, and students that provide excellent opportunities to showcase College of Public Health research to the University community. Winners of the student and staff competitions are recognized at an awards reception and also invited to attend the Research Week banquet. The involvement of CPH faculty, staff, and students makes it a special week for the College.
Research Week 2012
Research Week 2012 was held April 2-4. The theme was "The Excitable Brain: Order and Disorder in the Nervous System." A program schedule can be found on the Research Week website.
