research Council Mission Statement
- To develop and to facilitate collaborative research and research training within the College; with other colleges at The University of Iowa; with other colleges and universities; with private organizations; and with state and federal governmental agencies.
- To identify research training opportunities resulting from and required by collaborative research.
- To identify problems or barriers that prevent the advancement of research and research training goals.
- To identify innovative public health research initiatives that will advance the strategic goals of the College.
FY 2011-2012 meeting schedule
The College of Public Health Research Council meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month starting in September 2011. The meeting time is 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. and meetings will be held in the Dean Conference room (S162 CPHB).
