Prospective Students

International Applicants

More than 2,000 international students choose to attend The University of Iowa each year. The University has many resources to help you adjust to living in the United States while you earn your degree. One of your first contacts should be with the Office of International Students and Scholars.

Please be aware that each department or degree program may set different deadlines, require specific application materials, and establish unique entrance requirements. Review the requirements and deadlines for international applicants and work with the appropriate graduate student coordinator for your desired department or program if you have questions.
