The IPHPRP fosters and nurtures grassroots application of cutting edge public health practice and research to address grand challenges in population health.

Who We Are

We are CPH faculty, staff, and students.

The IPHPRP staff is made up of a variety of University of Iowa College of Public Health faculty, staff, and students. We are home to a broad array of trainers, statisticians, community builders, and program administrators.

In addition to our full-time staff, College of Public Health students join our ranks to provide support to communities and health departments across the state as part of our workforce development initiatives.

What We Do

We contribute expertise to better the health of Iowa.

IPHPRP uses that expertise to address the grand challenges of public health. We meet the high-quality accreditation standards set by the Council on Education for Public Health.

Help us make healthier communities.

Whether you are a College of Public student or faculty member, or an Iowa community looking for help with a public health problem, IPHPRP has opportunities for you.

Students can join our Public Health Strikeforce or participate in our annual case competition. Faculty can apply to become policy fellows or start a collaboratory. Communities can access valuable training opportunities or use our center for program implementation.
