What interested you in health care?
My mom has been a nurse for 25 years so I’ve always been around health care and liked being in the hospital, but I never wanted to be a direct care provider. Administration was a way I could be involved in health care and give back without being a direct care giver.
Why did you choose Iowa?
Iowa has a great health administration program and a very involved alumni network. I went to undergrad here, knew the surroundings and was confident it would be a good place to continue my education. I was excited to have the opportunity to join the program.
Favorite Grad School Moment
It’s too difficult to pick just one: the ACHE Congress trip to Chicago and FAC after executive seminar on the DC’s patio come to mind first.
Hobbies
Relaxing with family and friends. Being cookie monster.
