CPH researchers study benefits of telehealth services for rural schools

A study by College of Public Health researchers shows telehealth services provide valuable support to rural schools and students. “Lots of the negatives such as cost of appointment, travel, and others can be avoided by using telehealth, and these services provided these students with nurses through a video call, even if the nurse is hundreds of miles away,” says Marcia Ward, Distinguished Research Professor of Health Management and Policy, who led the study.
